Warren County Conservation and Edge of the Woods Raspberry Farm LLC would like to invite you to our Farm to Table dinner at the Middleswart Lodge. Spend an evening enjoying a locally raised 4 course meal prepared by award-winning Master Chef Aaron Holt from Doolittle Farms LLC.
Aaron Holt was Iowa Restaurant Association Chef of the Year in 2018, was previously the executive chef at the popular Ro–CA restaurant in Des Moines. He hosts farm to table events throughout the year buying from Iowa growers and producers whenever possible.
Enjoy your meal with close friends and family while enjoying music by Ryne Doughty. Guests are welcome to bring their own beer or wine to the event. Glasses and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided.
Reservations: Are required and nonrefundable.
Evening Schedule: Dinner will start at 6PM
Preliminary menu subject to availability
First Course: local Iowa organic mixed greens, edge of woods raspberry citrus vinaigrette, simple life farms goat cheese, mixed berries, pickled red onion, crushed pistachio, ciabatta croutons.
Second Course: smoked tomato-basil and leek bisque, crispy la Quercia pancetta, citrus crema, pea tendrils, charred Iowa sweet corn relish.
Main Course: sous vide Iowa prime beef, summer veggie sauté, confit baby heirloom potatoes, au poivre sauce.
Dessert: lavender-honey creme brûlée using local honey and lavender garnished with blackberries and raspberries.
Vegetarian and gluten free available by request in advance.
BYOB-Beer & Wine glasses will be provided.
