The Warren County Conservation Board currently manages more than 2,700 acres of land. The conservation board offers a wide variety of activities to the public. WCCB conserves for this generation and generations to come.
Locations include Annett Nature Center & Park, Bank Swallow Bend, Blue Flag Marsh, Grant Nature Land, Hickory Hills Park, Lundy Acres, Otter Creek Park, Rolling Thunder Prairie, Woodland Mounds Preserve, and Zo-El Annett Woods. Wilson Woods is a 12-acre area nestled along North River, located near 4055 100th Avenue. Bordered by timber and pasture to the south, east, and west, and bottomland crop ground to the north, which is owned and managed by the Iowa Department of Natural Resources as a wildlife management area. Wilson Woods is open to public hunting.
