Community Programs Include:
The Warren County Conservation Board offers a variety of programs for community groups such as school visits, field trips, homeschool groups, 4H groups, nursing homes and more. WCCB Naturalists can visit you or schedule a visit to one of our parks to study a wildlife topic, do a live animal program, earn an outdoor badge, take a nature hike, explore the nature center or more. Please note that we require a minimum of 10 participants for a small group programs on evenings and weekends.
Public Programs Include:
Whether it’s hiking through the many acres of conservation land identifying prairie ecology, listening for the elusive creatures of the night, or simply enjoying a summer day of fishing and family, Warren County Conservation offers a variety of environmental education programs designed to help visitors connect with nature, develop a deeper appreciation for our natural world, and foster positive attitudes and actions toward the environment.
We offer annual programs for visitors of all ages to experience and enjoy. Please see the calendar for a listing of dates and times for all programs that are being offered.
This form is to streamline requests for programs such as: field trips, in school programs, and private programs (4H, scouts, senior facilities, etc). These requests will be checked every Monday (or Tuesday if there is a holiday, etc) after the program request begin date listed below, and more as available.
