This session will be mostly outdoors, please wear sturdy, warm, waterproof boots. (Ugg type boots don’t work very well for this.)
*This program requires 4 or more inches of snow to prevent damage to the snowshoes, and will be canceled if we do not have enough snow.*

About Homeschool Wednesdays:

One Wednesday each month, we will have a specific program topic chosen. There will be different times specified for different age groups to allow learning at their level, with their peers. The topic may be the same but have slightly different activities based on the ages present.

Our wish is that Homeschool Wednesdays offers a chance for non-traditionally educated students to get together with other students their age to learn about a fun, educational topic. We also hope this serves as a new outlet to socialize with other students who are also learning at home.

We hope you will take advantage of our trails, shelters, and Nature Center before and/or after your child’s age group’s program to take an exploration hike, bring a lesson from home to a new setting, eat lunch, or explore the exhibits in the nature center.
