It takes place annually in June!\nCome out and help us celebrate National Mud Day with an invitation to get muddy and enjoy exploring mud with your kids! Discover\, or rediscover\, the messy joy that comes with a good mud pile. We will be watering down a mud pit at the Annett Nature Center to celebrate this holiday. You can observe this festive day in any way you like\, make a mud pie\, have a mud bath\, or a mud mask!\n\nGet as muddy as you can\, we’ll have a hose available for a quick rinse-off after you are done enjoying yourself. This workshop provides a comfortable environment to try new outdoor activities\, engage in hands-on workshops\, interactive sessions\, and guided activities led by experienced instructors.  You can campout and socialize Friday night\, then attend general and breakout sessions on Saturday. (In addition to learning and hands on experiences\, Wild Outdoor Women emphasizes the importance of fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for all participants. Social gatherings\, group discussions\, and networking opportunities allow women to connect\, share experiences\, and build lasting friendships while breaking barriers and shattering stereotypes.) \nSession Information?\nThis year you can choose from sessions including: Evening Glow Canoeing\, Sunrise Yoga\, Snare/Trapping\, Shooting Sports\, Soap Making\, Blank Park Zoo\, Canning/Jam Making\, Eco-Friendly Painting\, Brew Your Own Kombucha\, Tea Mixology\, Flower Arrangement\, and Park Exploration. \nWho Can Attend?\nWomen 12 & older are invited to participate in this event. DESCRIPTION:*PROGRAM UPDATE*\nThe weather is still deciding what it wants to do. We may have the evening burn tomorrow night (Wednesday 4/23 at 7:30pm at the Annett Nature Center) but we aren’t sure about conditions just yet. We will post a final update tomorrow at noon!\n\n\n*POP UP PROGRAM ALERT!*\n\n\n \n\n\n🔥 We are going to be having an evening prairie burn at the Annett Nature Center\, and we want you to come experience the night glow with us!\n\n\nWarren County Conservation staff will use prescribed fire techniques to burn the old and weedy\, and open the ground for prairie rebirth. We will discuss the many ways that prescribed burns help maintain the health of the prairie. \n\n\n \n\n\n‼️ The conditions must be right in order to hold the prairie burn. We don’t have an exact date yet but we are planning either Wednesday\, April 23rd or Thursday\, April 24th. Since weather and conditions can change a lot between now and then\, we will put out a confirmed date by the Tuesday evening. SUMMARY:Geocaching Disease Adventure
DESCRIPTION:What is the Geocaching Adventure?There are 25 Geocaching Adventure Caches hidden in county\, state and city parks around Warren County. Your challenge is to explore parks and find them all using a GPS. Each cache includes an instruction card\, a logbook\, and a stack of themed trading cards. Sign the logbook to show that you found the cache and take a trading card for your collection.\nAfter finding all 25 caches\, take your 25 trading cards to the Annett Nature Center. We will give you the coordinates to find the last cache challenge. Take a picture of yourself with the very last card or all of your trading cards. Feel free to include family\, friends\, your dog or anyone else that helped you finish the challenge. All participants who successfully finish the challenge by November 1\, 2025 will receive a finisher’s token and your photo will be posted on our Facebook page as Geocaching Adventure Finisher. Then\, take the winter months off and check back in the spring for the next geocaching theme.\n\nFind this years coordinates HERE
