The Waren County Conservation Board uses fire as a managment tool on many of its natural areas, especially prairie areas. On April 13, 2010, WCCB and Iowa DNR staff burned approximately 80 acres at Bank Swallow Bend on South River. Here are a few pictures and a couple videos of that burn.
